snmpset - where does the newly set value get stored

Hello all,             I am working on HP-UX platform                When I execute the following command and set the sysContact information .Where does the new value get stored              snmpset   -c public  -v2c  172.16.1.176  system.sysContact.0 s "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"     Thanks, Prakash
