This is a client-side error, yes?
I.e. 'snmptranslate' fails to report on objects in that MIB - correct?

What's the exact line that you have in your 'snmp.conf' file?
What's the name of the file in this directory, and what do the first
few lines of this file look like?

If you try specifying an object using the syntax

        NAME-OF-MIB::nameOfObject

does it work, or not?
