Hi All, i'm a newbie to Net-SNMP and i only know what i've been reading. I still have one (basic?) question. I have a my own MIB. It is referenced in snmpd.conf, i launch snmpd successfully i can make some successfull snmpget (and snmpset) of .system branch variables. When i try to ask some questions about my MIB: >snmpget -v 1 -c public SNMPTest .1.3.6.1.4.1.20000.1.4.0
what i get is: Error in packet Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such name in this MIB Failed Object: SNMP-TME::pollHeartBeat But if i execute a >snmptranslate .1.3.6.1.4.1.20000.1.4.0 i get a : SNMP-TME::pollHeartBeat Am i missing something? Why can't i read (write) in my MIB? Any help would be aprecciated, RR __________________________________________________________ Sabe quanto gasta com a sua ligao Internet?
