A couple of quick questions: 1. Are you compiling as superuser? 2. I'm a little concerned about your directory path. It mentions 5.0.9. Are you sure it's not getting confused and mixing libraries between 5.0.9 and 5.1.2? 3. Have you tried a "make distclean"?
