Hi,
I've downloaded the recent win32 binaries but can't get them to work with v3. I can run the same commands on Linux and they work perfectly. On Win32 I get:
USM authentication failure (incorrect password or key)
Is v3 support included in the Win32 binaries? Do I need some extra libraries (e.g. openssl) installed?
Hi.
OpenSSL is required to support the encryption capabilities in SNMPv3,
or SHA authentication. The binary provided is not compiled with OpenSSL, so you will have to download the source code and compile yourself with OpenSSL enabled. Instructions are in README.WIN32.
