I'm trying to compile snmp 5.1.1 on HPUX 11.11 and its giving me problems..
im doing
./configure --with-libs=-lnm --with-cc=gcc
and when i try to make i get
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -Dhpux11 -rpath
/usr/local/lib -version-info 6:1:1 -o libnetsnmp.la
rm -fr .libs/libnetsnmp.la .libs/libnetsnmp.* .libs/libnetsnmp.*
/usr/ccs/bin/ld -b +h libnetsnmp.sl.6 +b /usr/local/lib -o
.libs/libnetsnmp.sl.6.1 -lc
*** Error exit code 1
Stop.
seems problem lies somehwere in the snmplib...
i googled around and found some other people had the same problem, but
i couldnt find solutions to it.
any help would be helpful
