I have been using Intermapper (http://www.intermapper.com) for many years and I really like their product. Easy to setup and use, and you can build custom probes to get the info you want. It was a Mac OS only product (the server that is) when I first started to use it, but now it supports most platforms. It's stable and works really fine, and it's not too expensive either.

We need it to be at least v2-compatible and work on OS X, Solaris (i386/Sparc), FreeBSD and most flavors of Linux. Can you recommend any products, open source or paid? Thanks.
