I have an install of net-snmp 5.0.3 on Linux where snmptrap is not working. This is a preconfigured vendor's box so I can't reinstall the app.
I've been testing using this command where 10.200.164.15 is the trap receiver, /usr/local/bin/snmptrap -v 1 -c public 10.200.164.15 '' 10.200.164.15 3 0 '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.1 i 1 snmptrap just doesn't seem to be generating any network activity, sniffing the network I don't see anything. From another box everything works fine. I don't know where to begin troubleshooting, any pointers would be great. thanks ############################################################ Building on 40 Years of Leadership - As a global communications leader with 40 years of experience, Intelsat helps service providers, broadcasters, corporations and governments deliver information and entertainment anywhere in the world, instantly, securely and reliably. ############################################################ This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
