The tutorial section of the web site has examples of calling snmptrap to send a trap. You just need to figure out what OID you are going to use for your notification. Also, see the 'disk' directive in snmpd.conf. You have to poll it, but it will set an error flag for you. And, as Bruce said, the disman event support can poll and send a trap for you. -- Robert Story; NET-SNMP Junkie Support: <http://www.net-snmp.org/> <irc://irc.freenode.net/#net-snmp> Archive: <http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum=net-snmp-users> You are lost in a twisty maze of little standards, all different. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
