Does somebody have a sample snmp.conf file?

If you are not sure what you should be configuring in snmp.conf, you should try using the snmpconf script. It allows you to set options using a menu system. You may not even need anything in your snnmp.conf file.

You may not even need anything in snmp.conf. If you are using the agent (snmpd) then you will need an snmpd.conf file. If you are using the trap receiver (snmptrapd) then you will need an snmptrapd.conf file.
