Can snmp-agent indicate these?

Hi.   My Solaris system have three ethernet cards. If one of these cards fails(or network line fails), can snmp-agent know this? In case system power off, can snmp-agent know this too? (UPS will stand some second until power completely off) If so, How can I implement this?   I want to make snmp-agent to know this event.(I will notify this event to other process in the same system)   Anybody knows this, Thank you.
