It appears that there is a linking problem somewhere with the
libraries. Changing the make file like so:
snmpdemoapp: $(OBJS1)
$(CC) -o snmpdemoapp $(OBJS1)
../net-snmp-5.2.1/snmplib/.libs/libnetsnmp.a $(BUILDLIBS
will fix the problem.
