Then you think wrong. '--enable-debugging' is a directive given to the configure script, to request that the debugging code is *included* within the SNMP library, agent and applications. That doesn't automatically turn on debug output - it simply means that the debugging facilities are available. '-DALL' is an option given to the agent or applications to *activate* these debugging statements. Without this (or some more selective -D option), then the debugging statements would remain present, but unused.
