I would be *extremely* grateful for this as well. My attempts to compile it with IBM CC V6 went down in flames during
the configure script. I then attempted gcc, which compiled, but not w/o numerous warnings about various network related header
files being present but not compilable (which other threads here led me to ignore). The resulting snmpd simply returns
"nlist: No such file or directory" in the log file. I've had no trouble like this in the past with AIX 4.x, or any flavor of Linux for that
matter. I'd love to know *why* it's not working, but I'm not quite sure where to start.
