In 5.1, the message is logged every time the mib data is read. That's the way
the code worked.

No, unfortunately the code has changed too much for a simple diff. But it's
really simple. Find where the message is logged in ucd-snmp/vmstat.c. Then see
this patch, a duplicate what it does with the variable 'first' and the snmp_log
log messages...
