I have this net-snmp subagent that will send me just trash (lots of random chars - usually starting with "UV") for description. This happens when it sends just a few traps at once. If it has more than, let say, 10 traps to send, every trap comes just fine. I can read everything. If it has 5 or fewer traps to send, I receive time, severity and other options the way I expect but the description (which is a string field) comes all messed up.
My subagent writes in a file whatever description I pass to the trap (using function bind_var_list() or something) and every description is written perfectly, so I believe it is messed while sending the trap. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks! -- Salsa __________________________________ Discover Yahoo! Find restaurants, movies, travel and more fun for the weekend.
