Sort-of.
It's a long time ago now, but my recollection is that I implemented
the GETCOLS "end-of-column" behaviour, but not DP's proposed OID
compression mechanism. Instead, my EOS extensions implemented one
(or possibly both?) of the two generic compression algorithms.
The code is now *very* out of date (from 2002, based on 5.0.3),
but it's still available as
http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~daves/eos.tgz
No support whatsoever :-)
