No mfd-top.m2c file (In Linux tar file, they are in:
./local/mib2c-conf.d/* => where to copy them in Windows tree ?
And I didn't succeed to get mib2c(.pl) using MIB files in another place
than default directory c:/usr/share/snmp/mibs,
unless I was using c:/usr/etc/snmp/mib2c.conf
with various parameters for mibs .....
And may I suggest to rename Perl scripts in .pl
(for the BAT files aren't mandatory ! /XP )
Could you explain where to unpack them from the >Linux .tar.gz !
i have copied the all files in /local/mib2c-conf.d
to my folder were the mib2c.*.confs are and it worked
It may smell like I also made mistakes in conf file,
but I'm not surte of it in C:/usr/etc/snmp =
mibdirs C:/usr/work;C:/usr/share/snmp/mibs
persistentDir C:/usr/snmp/persist
> tempFilePattern C:/usr/temp/snmpdXXXXXX
this seems ok to me

PS: for Win32 packaging..
When I was modifying MIB2C.bat
adding just: SET MIBS=ALL in second line,
it works better, but still asks for IANA-RTPROTO->MIB.txt
that I supplied for another tool. May be it would be >added to package.
you should load the mib in snmp.conf
like this
mibs +IANA-RTPROTO-MIB
Another question, if you please :
why does this script ( MIB2C.bat ) call just the <same->name-perl-script>
is it just not to have to rename Perl scripts with a .pl >extension ?
Or is there any other better reason ? For I didn't >understand
why to have two calls on IF test like :
if "%OS%"=="Windows_NT" goto ...
