Hi I'm trying to use the snmptrapd in a pc with two ethernet interfaces and I cannot see the traps sended by other pc. I'm sure that the traps arrive because I can see the raw message with the option snmptrapd -f -Le -d
I also have turn on the debug and I see this line: trace: _sess_process_packet(): snmp_api.c, 4916: sess_process_packet: pre-parse fail trace: _sess_read(): snmp_api.c, 5210: sess_read: not reading 5 (fdset 0xbffff9b0 set 0) trace: _sess_read(): snmp_api.c, 5210: sess_read: not reading 3 (fdset 0xbffff9b0 set 0) trace: snmp_sess_select_info(): snmp_api.c, 5622: sess_select: for all sessions: 7 5 3 trace: snmp_sess_select_info(): snmp_api.c, 5622: sess_select: for all sessions: 7 5 3 What means pre-parse fail? It seems that it receive the packet but it cannot parse it. I have tried the same command in other pc with the same netsnmp version and it works!! Why it does not work in a pc with two ethernet cards? -- Salu2: *************************************** José María González *************************************** ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
