Hello Thomas, I've still a problem with AgentX (see my message from yesterday for more details). Running AgentX results in an error message:
/ # snmpd -x /var/agentx/master -c /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf / # ps PID Uid VmSize Stat Command ... ... .... . ............. 101 root 2564 R snmpd -x /var/agentx/master -c /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf 102 root 352 R ps / # snmpget -c public -v 1 192.168.3.202 system.sysDescr.0 Timeout: No Response from 192.168.3.202. "snmpd" is now terminated. With more parameters, I get a more detailled error message: / # snmpd -f -Le -d -x /var/agentx/master -c /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf Turning on AgentX master support. Turning on AgentX master support. Error: Couldn't open a master agentx socket to listen on: Unknown host (No such file or directory) Running "snmpd -f -Le -d -x /var/agentx/master" (without "-c /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf") results in the same error message. As I told yesterday, I'm logged in as root. And starting "snmpd" with another port has the same effect. Any suggestions?
