We have a requirement to send traps from Java application to Net-SNMP master agent. At present all traps from java application are received by snmptrapd and it forwards them to SNMP Manager. But our basic requirement is snmptrapd should forward all the traps it receives to Net-SNMP master agent. So that they can be added to alarms lists and send them out using send_v2trap(). In summary our requirement is to maintain alarms list in Net-SNMP agent.
Can any one pls clarify whether snmptrapd can forward traps to master agent.
Any help is very much appreciated.
