After building net-snmp version 5.3.0.1 from source, "make test" in perl grizzles slightly at the 108th test, but still passes it:
ok 34 Can't parse: nosuchoidexists ok 35 # So that seems to be expected. The first failed test is at: t/bulkwalk....NOK 8# Failed test 8 in t/bulkwalk.t at line 72 # t/bulkwalk.t line 72 is: ok($list[1][0]->tag eq ".1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1");# Should be system.ifNumber OID. I configured net-snmp with; ./configure --with-perl-modules --enable-shared It's the second day back on net-snmp, after last having used the fresh-baked 4.2.3, so could the failure be due to some file left over from 4.2.3, that should be "uninstalled" in one way or another? Is there a known method for putting a fire-hose in there? A clean slate might just do the trick. Meanwhile, I'll see whether some more rtfm can elucidate this one that's resisting archive trolling. (At least it might remind me why we need the perl stuff. :-) Erik ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
