The format of varbinds passed to trap handlers has been
consistent for several years, and changing it now would
break numerous existing trap handlers.

But it's certainly an idea for future development of
the trap handler application.

It may be worth adding that using *embedded perl* to handle notifications will already give you access to this type of information today, provided you've built with "--enable-embedded-perl". See the NetSNMP::TrapReceiver(3pm) manual page for details.
