I wonder does net-snmp agent support printer mib like rfc1759printer.mib
etc, if the functionalities are already there, but this has simply not
been configured in
to the running version. Will use the configure option
--with-mib-modules="list"
then recompiling the agent do? (net-snmp 5.2.1.2 under redhat release 8.0)
or there is no printer functionalities that are implemented in the agent,
we need to
connect to a subagent who already has that feature, or even to extend the
agent by writing up the c code....
If to go with the subagent scenario is the choice, where to get information
on how to configure and run the master and subagent and related aspects of
this topic?
