Sadly, I do know about that problem but it's a pain to fix. When you do a getbulk and you pass the max message size limit sent by the manager you're supposed to cut out a bunch of stuff till it encodes under the length requested by the manager. The simple answer is we don't do that and it's wrong. The worse answer is that it's fixable but a pain (which is why it hasn't been done). If you can convince the package you're using to either reduce the repeat number or use getnext or increase the max message size you can probably get around that. (I think 2048 is a reasonable default to be done by them for network traffic purposes, though I'm sort of disappointed they'd throw anything away that they got back.
