Thank you Alex! I had done
the same thing (writing to a file) in C but it did not work until I wrote the
following in my snmptrapd.conf: traphandle “default” /usr/local/bin/test Note the quotation
marks around the word default. It
seems that I was lucky when I found it out because I couldn’t find it
documented anywhere. I hope that
