snmp set doubt

Title: snmp set doubt

Hi All,
      I am refering the the following link for implementing snmp set http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/tutorial-5/toolkit/mib_module/index.html

My doubt is in MODE_SET_COMMIT only we are writing the data to the memory if somthing goes wrong how net-snmp handles it. In the net-snmp state diagram if somthing goes wrong during RESERVE1, RESERVE2 and ACTION we are reverting the change, but this not handles for COMMIT.
