I am pretty new to this and didn't find the answer in the achieves, so I came here.
Problem: Currently I am running Fedora Core 4 with net-snmp 5.3.0.1. I set the disk to alert when it has 10% free space left, but yet when the systems / mount is only at 1% utilization it alerts with the following cryptic message. "A Threshold has been exceeded on node: server_name.domain, interface:IP_ADDRESS. The parameter ns-disk-1-pct reached a value of 1.0 while the threshold is 5.0. This alert will be rearmed when ns-disk-1-pct reaches 10.0. DESCRIPTION: Unknown COMMENT: Unknown." I have this same problem on multiple servers after implementing this... I am not sure what is going on here.... Is it a configuration error? If so, here is my config... syslocation "location of server " syscontact "contact info" rocommunity obvious trapcommunity stuffs trapsink ip of sink # Free Space Left disk / 10% rouser opennms01 createUser user MD5 "user" DES iquerySecName user agentSecName user defaultMonitors yes Can I get some help here... I am having a hard time figuring out what is going on here. Thanks! Russ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
