Before I try to answer that question, I think I'd like a little more
detail about exactly what you mean by "dynamically adding",
"instrumenting" and "exposing" a metric.
Are you talking about generating code automatically ("Real Men write
self-modifying code") or what? What *exactly* are you hoping to do?
