What directory does it go in I tried /usr/local/etc/snmpd.conf and /usr/local/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
And they both did not work. Net-snmp Version 5.2.2 hpux 10.20

It looks as if you'd need to install this perl module first.
I strongly suggest that you just create the snmpd.conf file by hand -
it's likely to be much simpler!
