I grabbed the 5.3.1 source and the net-snmp.spec file. I have successfully built the rpm binaries on a RHEL v.3 box. The perl modules were also built successfully, but at the very end of the build process I receive a huge number of messages saying that "installed (but unpackaged)" files were found. The list includes what appears to every file having to do with the perl stuff. The build command I'm using is:
LDFLAGS=/usr/lib64 rpmbuild -bb net-snmp.spec There is an incomplete message thread on this list from January 2006 on a similar problem under SLES. It says the problem was corrected by providing INSTALL_PREFIX ... but how do I do this when building an RPM? Thanks.
