Hi,
We are looking into
the possibility of using net-snmp agent stack on both linux and windows
platforms. Have read the README files and have some questions. How stable
is the net-snmp agent stack on windows ? In terms of features/functionalities,
is it similar to what is supported on linux ? Any known issues on windows
that we need to be aware of.
I see there are 3
options in the net-snmp agent on linux:
1. Standalone(single
process- snmpd - have all mib related code into the same source as
snmpd and generate one binary to support various mibs).
2. Have one Master
and various SubAgents with AgentX
3. Single process
but subagents are built as Dynamic Load Object (.so, dll)
Are these 3
options/models supported on Windows platform as well ?
Thanks in
advance
Regards
