I find it very difficult to believe that this is the exact command that you are actually giving. There is no mention in the command of an option "-snmp", so I don't see where In addition, there is an extraneous space in the option "-L/usr/local/lib", you are using "-capital-i" instead of "-lower-case-L" for specifying the libraries, and you've added a second (unnecessary) "-lcrypto" Can you please try the command I suggested: gcc snmpdemoapp.c -o snmpdemoapp -L/usr/local/lib -lnetsnmp -lcrypto -lm *exactly* as shown - no extra spaces, no changing '-l' (lower-casse L) to '-I' (upper-case i), no extra libraries - nothing. It's safest if you cut-and-paste it. If this fails, then please cut-and-paste the *exact* command and error in your reply. Don't simply re-type the command - it's too easy for minor differences to creep in, which make it impossible to assist you sensibly.
