Any comments on three and four? They should really have been listed as
separate issues, but now that they are in the same note I don't want to
duplicate the content on the list.

Symptoms 1 and 2 were the ones linked by the header issue.

Thanks for spotting this. This should now be fixed in CVS MAIN and the
5.4.x CVS branch. We'll see whether we can offer updated Win32 binaries.
