That looks OK at first sight.

The first thing to check is that the library is looking for the MIB in the
place you expect (i.e. where the file actually is).
Try running
snmptranslate -Dparse_mibs -m +AF-MIB -IR afMIB
It's also worth trying using the alternative method for specifying
a MIB object:
snmptranslate AF-MIB::afMIB
