Net-snmp is intended for snmp agent, as far as I know. Maybe my following
questions are very naive.
I made simple SNMP network using sony-news as manager (news stands for network
station and it uses unix os). As for agent, I used my windows XP work station
which runs net-snmp.
(1) can snmp agent make snmp query to get some information on snmp manager ?
If yes, I think that I will need to make some configuration for snmpd.conf. In
this case, which snmpd.conf ? snmpd.conf of manager? snmpd.conf of agent ?
(2) can snmp agent make snmp query to get some information on other snmp agent ?
If yes, which snmpd.conf ? snmpd.conf of agent to make query ? snmpd.conf of
agent to be queried ?
