Are you really running snmpwalk against the *sub-agent* machine (if so, what's
listening on port 161 of that machine and how is it configured?) or perhaps
rather the *master* agent machine (which has an AgentX connection to a sub-agent
on another machine)? It sounds as if you want to do the latter, of course. If
you get a timeout, please work through the corresponding FAQ item checklist.
