I recently upgrade to net-snmp5.4. I have recompiled my subagent with
it. But when my subagent calls init_snmp("mySubagentName"), I have this
err log:
Warning: Failed to connect to the agentx master agent ([NIL]):
I don't understand because my master agent is up and running:
...
Turning on AgentX master support.
agentx/master: initializing...
agentx/master: initializing... DONE
NET-SNMP version 5.4
...
And the 'socket' is active, i.e. the 'file' /var/agentx/master is
created when snmpd is running.
I started my agent (snmpd) with -Dagentx but I see nothing concerning
my subagent in the log.
Any idea?
