Hi,

Am using net-snmp-5.3.0.1 And have configured if for IPv6 using the
following options.

./configure --enable-ipv6 -with-default-snmp-version="1"
--with-transports="UDPIPv6 TCPIPv6 IPX"

I start the snmpd agent with -d option to dump the packets on stderr.

I can see the snmpgetnext request for snmpv2-mib::sysuptime (as shown
below) , but the response for this packet is not seen.

Received 39 bytes from UDP/IPv6: [fe80::213:d4ff:fe96:7b3e]:1038

Received SNMP packet(s) from UDP/IPv6: [fe80::213:d4ff:fe96:7b3e]:1038
  GETNEXT message
    -- SNMPv2-MIB::sysUpTime

I have modified the snmpd.conf to capture ipv4 as well as ipv6 packets
on port 161 as follows
agentaddress  udp:161,udp6:161

The agent is working fine for ipv4.

Thnks in advance for any pointers as to why the response from the agent
is missing.

Thanks and Regards,
Vikash Sharma
