Hello,
I started using Net-SNMP recently and I´ve been capable
of doing only some snmpgets and snmpsets...
Now I would like to receive some traps but I can't see
how to do it...
I tried the trap generator snmptrap with the object
coldStart.0 but I only get
$ /usr/bin/snmptrap -v 1 -c public localhost 42 coldStart.0
unknown host: coldStart.0
The file snmpd.log has trap timeout.
I really don't know much about this so if there is come
with (a lot) of pacience, please reply.
Some samples of the snmptrapd.conf would
probably be helpful too.
