Short answer - it doesn't matter.
You should be able to use any MIB with any version of SNMP.
Slightly longer answer - apart from "Counter64" objects
These are simply ignored when using SNMPv1
Longest answer - What's relevant to MIB files is not actually the
version of SNMP used. Instead the difference is between "SMIv1"
vs "SMIv2". These are broadly similar, but SMIv2 is more closely
specified, with extra stuff at the begininng ("MODULE-IDENTITY")
and the end ("OBJECT-GROUP"), and a different way of defining
traps ("NOTIFICATION-TYPE").
SMIv1 is effectively obsolete, and all current tools, etc should
really be working with SMIv2.
Bottom line: Use SMIv2, and don't worry about it.
