So the agent is loading the Gwsnmp module successfully...

It just doesn't like the OID you asked for.

What happens if you try
    snmpgetnext .... .   1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.37.1.1.1.4
?

(which should be equivalent to
    snmpgetnext  ......   GWMTA-MIB::mtaClosedDomains
)
