Moin,

I have to implement a solution for an autodetect.
For example: there is a known device with snmp support in my subnet. I can
walk through the mib tree by snmpwalk -v1 -c public <IP> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5040

But how to find out the IP adress if it is unknown? No chance to scan every IP
adress if the subnet, because it may be a large class A,B or C net.

Any hint?
Thanks
