Here is my run options for snmpd:
snmp 25742 1 0 Aug29 ? 00:03:13 /usr/sbin/snmpd -s -l
/dev/null -u snmp -I -smux -P /var/run/snmpd.pid -p [EMAIL PROTECTED]
What is the smux module? Do we need it?

I have implemented snmpd on our Debian servers. However, some of the
snmpd keeping dying when polled.
