I could not run ./configure in Microtronix environment (Cygwin based),I just added new config*.h files which were built for normal Linux, adapted them. Also I created 2 makefiles for agent and snmplib. I can send you them if you need.
It works, I have no any broblem, just only one, described here!
net-snmp run-time configuration? (snmpd.conf and command-line options)
command line is: snmpd -f -c snmpd.conf I attached also my snmpd.conf file.
Details on how you invoke telnetd?
just run it from Windows command line: telnet address
Details on if/how you query the snmp agent?
iReasoning MIB Browser: Version 4.2 Hope I provided you enough info regarding my environment.The problem is in packet poiners. It's somehow changed after launching telnet, the same problem happened when I run ps command and try to get some info from snmpd. It's looks like something wrong with file descriptor. When run telnet and close it, I have no any problem. But when I just start it and keep running, then I start MIB Browser get command. Snmpd responded only once. ps shows that CPU is growing up to 100%. snmp is not available after that for mib browser, but it's running.
