Dell supplies SMUX subagent(s) as part of Dell OMSA that are known to
work well with a net-snmp master agent (although there've been a few
bugs in the past).

It's up to you to double-check your OMSA and net-snmp installations (you
haven't told us any details about them yet) and startup scripts on the
server side to find out what's going wrong. I'd suggest adding
"-Dsmux,smux_conf,smux_init" to the snmpd startup options for further
debugging, once you've made sure both snmpd and the OMSA sub-agents are
getting started properly.
