Dell supplies SMUX subagent(s) as part of Dell OMSA that are known to work well with a net-snmp master agent (although there've been a few bugs in the past). It's up to you to double-check your OMSA and net-snmp installations (you haven't told us any details about them yet) and startup scripts on the server side to find out what's going wrong. I'd suggest adding "-Dsmux,smux_conf,smux_init" to the snmpd startup options for further debugging, once you've made sure both snmpd and the OMSA sub-agents are getting started properly. +Thomas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
