net-snmp 5.0.9 is running on a RH7.2 linux machine and
the "admin" user is configured.
# cat /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf
rwuser "admin" priv
trapsess 172.20.11.58:162 -u "admin" -a MD5 -A
"12345678" -x DES -X "87654321" -v 3 -l authPriv

# cat /etc/sysconfig/ipt-snmptrap.dat
ipt-snmptrap 172.20.11.58 162

A trap is sent to 172.20.11.58 wherever snmpd is
restarted:
# service snmpd restart
Stopping snmpd:
    [FAILED]
Starting snmpd:
    [ OK ]

At 172.20.11.58:
# snmptrapd -f -C -c /home/powah/snmp/snmptrapd.conf
-Le

I setup the same configuration for
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf and
/etc/sysconfig/ipt-snmptrap.dat on a FC6 machine
running net-snmp 5.4.1.
However, restarting snmpd does not generate a trap.
Please help.
Thanks.
