Yes.

No - SNMPv2c support is enabled by default.
As long as you have access control enabled,
then this should work.

This shows that SNMPv2c *is* working.
Since that's what's giving you back the error.

If SNMPv2c wasn't working, the request would simply time out.


The 5.1.x agent didn't really support the ifXTable, which is probably
why you are getting the noSuchObject error back.
   Try upgrading to the 5.4 agent.
