Here's the output.
parse-mibs: Scanning directory /home/.snmp/mibs:/usr/local/share/snmp/mibs
parse-mibs: cannot open MIB directory /home/.snmp/mibs:/usr/local/snmp/mibs

I know that /home/.smp/mibs does not exist, but the other does.  Any
idea why this is failing with one valid directory?

I'll try to add the other directory and see what happens.
