Hi there -- I want to monitor disk utilization on all my server. But I have a pretty mixed environment, I have FreeBSD 4 and 6, Gentoo and Redhat.
For the most part, I'm running net-snmp 5.4 (linux servers), but the FreeBSD needs an older version because we prefer installing from ports which doesn't seem have 5.4 yet, so they we have: 5.2, 5.2.3 and 5.3. All servers have the following configuration: rocommunity mycommunity myip sysservices 76 includeAllDisks 5% I noticed all linux server have: .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ucdavis.dskTable Containing disk size, free and used space. But on the FreeBSD although the dskTable exists, I do not get it's dskTotal, dskAvail, dskUsed, dskPercent or dskPercentNode. How do I ensure FreeBSD will also give me those values? Is there any workaround for the problem? Or should I forget about UCD-SNMP-MIB and write my own scripts to get that information from the bsd servers? Regards, Eduardo M.
